29th Wedding Anniverary in Monterey
Cliff and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary on the 29th of August in Monterey, CA. We took our bikes and followed an impressive bike trail from Seaside to Lover's Point. Then we went up on the main road and continued on to Asilomar. We ate at an amazing seafood restaurant and had the best artichoke I've ever had in my life. All too soon we had to return to the real world.
Education Week 2008
What a wonderful time we had in Provo at Education week. We stayed at my brother Kurt's house in Spanish Fork and got to attend classes and eat dinner each night with extended family.
BYU Education Week 2008
Devan, Nick and I had a delightful time in Provo at Education Week. I learned (and hopefully will remember) wonderful things! It was so much fun to be with extended family. It was a bit of heaven on earth.

Andrea's Dream Car
So did you hear that Andrea got a new car? Wow! They must pay really well at Clorox! Actually, the car is her Uncle Anthony's dream car. He was kind enough to give her a ride, though.
The Manassa Parade
Do any of you have a burning desire to see a float from the parade in Manassa? Here was the Sweepstake winner.
The joy of grandchildren!
Here I am with one of my adorable grandsons, Spencer Stevenson Smith. I had a delightful time visiting with Marissa and Stevenson in Portland and Eugene this past week. I helped them move most of their earthly possessions into an apartment just moments away from OHSU Dental School where Stevenson will spend the next four years of his life.

I Can't Believe I'm Doing This!
I'm sitting here in Eugene, OR, with Marissa who is setting me up as an "official blogger". Not that I have anything earth shattering to share, but I do enjoy all the blogs I read so I thought I'd join in. My postings will be short and sweet, especially once I enter my "kindergarten tunnel" in a couple of weeks. So don't expect any opinions, lists of favorites, or philosophical rantings, just a couple of pictures and a blurb underneath to keep family and friends updated on the doings of Mama Perona.
